About Me

First and foremost, I am a Believer. Jesus Christ is the only One who can save me from all that is of this world. I admit to my shortcomings and look forward to the day when I meet my Creator.

I am a wife and mom who works fulltime outside the home. Although I went to college for Social Work, I knew before I even graduated that this was not the path for me. I landed in the medical field and enjoy working administratively. Medical coding is rather boring and/or complicated for many people, but I love being thorough and working through the details. Yes, there are plenty of frustrations that come with kids that need care or needing transportation somewhere. Yet, I thrive in the working world and know that my kids are watching me as I work hard using my gifts.

I am a Pink Warrior, slaying the beast of breast cancer. I was diagnosed on Friday the 13th in March 2020. This was 2 days before Covid shut down the world. My cancer journey was dramatically affected by the new rules of Covid. Although my husband was allowed to come to my first office appointment, most of my appointments, tests, and treatments were all by myself. I had no choice but to be strong. Even when my hip gave out. Even through 3 rounds of post-treatment PT/OT. After 13 chemo treatments, the PET scan showed a complete response to that painful process. I am cancer-free and anxiously awaiting my 5-year mark coming up soon.
